Lovely Mika tells the story of Spiderman. English is not her native language.

Mika is practicing her English by explaining the plot to The Empire Strikes Back while an animator hilariously adjusts the movie accordingly. This would actually be a brilliant assignment for any foreign language teacher because it tests language acquisition in a fun way.

The Avenue Toward Heaven – China’s Scariest Road

There are some roads in this world which just look scary. If there was a list of such roads then the Avenue Towards Heaven (also known as the Big Gate Road) in Tianmenshan, in the Hunan province of China might well be very near the top. It goes from a staggering 200 meters below to 1300 meters above sea level.

It is little wonder then that the road which was started in 1998 took eight years to complete. Its twists and turns are certainly not for the faint hearted. The road climbs Tianmen Mountain just south of Zhangjiajie City (which was previously called Dayong) is very much the must see scenic area in Hunan.

It is also called the road of 99 turns – nine is a lucky number in China as it symbolizes that heaven has nine palaces. If the road is a little too scary for you, there is an alternative.  A cable car goes from of Zhangjiajie City to the top of Tianmen Mountain.  Sounds like out of the frying pan and in to the fire – the cableway is 7455 meters in length making it, so the Chinese claim, the longest in the world.

How will world’s worst dictators spend times together? Being a ruthless dictator can be a lonely business.

“An idea for a series with honest logos, revealing the actual content of the company, what they really should be called. Some are cheap, some might be a bit funny, some will maybe be brilliant. I don’t know.” -Viktor Hertz

Procrastination vs Perfection

Am I a “Procrastinator”? Not really, but I’m challenging myself to complete the works under stress and pressure in order to catch up the dateline LOL!

Before starting any given tasks, I’m constantly thinking about the perfection of the end results.

“It must be perfect. So I must first get prepared enough and get to the actual work when I’m totally ready.”

Then, comes the “PROCRASTINATION”, by using “PERFECTION” as an excuse. Although it is good to be a “PERFECTIONISTS”, but by keep waiting for the perfect moment, the perfect state of mind, or the perfect mood to do the works, I will never accomplish anything by the dateline. There is just one thing that makes PERFECT. It’s PRACTICE.
